On a fully packed weekend that sees thousands of people flocking to Glastonbury trying out their Camping skills, millions wanting to watch the footie, motor racing and tennis, Peterborough Beavers were set to have their own adventure night as over 75 join together at the Spinney in Westwood on Friday 25th of June 2010.

The Adventure night gave the young people, the chance to try out three activities; tent pitching, wooden whistle making and dough bread twists,

Organising Beaver Leader Zoe O’Sullivan said “it is fantastic to see so many Beavers from across the city all having their own mini adventure at the Spinney” she also added “being the youngest age group section it is an honour for the Beavers to kick start this busy scouting weekend, but our event is not the only one happening tonight”
